This May we will be celebrating Mr. Hero’s 60th birthday! Wow, that’s amazing. Sixty years ago, we opened our first sandwich shop on Cleveland’s Westside. I can remember it clearly. I was twenty years old and married with one child. My second daughter was born a few months later. My philosophy back then was simple. Don’t just give them delicious sandwiches give them your heart. Show them gratitude, be friendly and engaging. Do it with sincerity and they might actually start liking you. I started greeting my customers like I was greeting an old friend, and in my heart how could I not. My customers were feeding, clothing and sheltering my wife and children. I wasn’t conscious of loving my customers it was just natural to me. My business philosophy became simple, customer satisfaction. All other business principles spawn from the Core Principle of customer satisfaction.  Our philosophy hasn’t changed over the years, but our menu has evolved into something uncommonly good. A variety of tastes that customers remember. Thats how our slogan came about. Its the taste you crave. And that is exactly what happens. You don’t just love Mr. Hero, you crave Mr. Hero. Our menu is comprised of a variety of exceptional sandwiches and sides that are unique to us.
